In Mary Shelleys Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus, the novel is based on exactly that, a journey. One journey is Victor Frankensteins quest for knowledge. In Mary Shelleys Frankenstein she uses a more mythological approach to the relationship between Frankenstein and the monster.
